Finding & retrieving from specific sources

When you know where the answer lives, tell Lumnic to look only there. Scoping a query to a single source returns tighter, faster results.

Pattern

Find information about [topic] using only [Google Drive / Teams / Slack / Jira]. Return the most relevant items with short summaries.

Examples

  • Find information about SOC 2 readiness using only Google Drive.
  • Find discussions about latency issues using only Slack. Return the most relevant threads with brief summaries.
  • Find the Google Doc 'Lumnic - Building the enterprise AI system for organizations'.
  • Find emails from finance@company.com last week.
tip

Scoping by source is one of the most effective ways to cut noise. If you're not sure where something lives, start broad, then re-run the query scoped to the source that looked most promising.
